Nachos. cheese not melted. Chicken still cold. Bar tender offended when we asked her to cash out our video poker winnings- "uh, your waitress is right over THERE." well our waitress was running around like crazy being very attentive so we thought we would just ask you, the bimbo at the bar doing nothing at the moment. #teamwork. not going back for a while...

My family and I live in the area and we wanted to try a local restaurant. We drove around to a few other restaurants that were quite busy so we moved on and ended up at Sports On tap. They accept minors until 9PM so it seemed somewhat family friendly. We went on a Friday night that also happened to be a holiday plus a few key games on T.V. We expected the restaurant to be busy; which it was.

It is a seat yourself place with a few booths, a few tables, a few hightop tables, and bar seating. There were plenty of T.V.s which a plus for our party. We were greeted pretty promptly upon sitting. Our dining experience began with a round of water and a couple beers. At the same time we ordered a kids PB&J with applesauce and chocolate milk. Water came pretty quickly, along with news that they didn't have chocolate milk. OK, that's fine but no other kids drinks options were offered even when we asked for regular milk. Not a huge deal and we convinced the child in our party that water was awesome. The tap beer came next after about 5-7 minutes.; and when the tap beer was delivered the waitress asked the other beer drinker in our party if they knew the beer they ordered was bottled and if that was OK. GREAT question... at the time the drink order is being placed. Not after delivering the draft beer. It took another 10 minutes to get that beer.

We were waiting for the final member of our party to arrive. They ordered a beer and it came pretty quickly. We ordered entrees after that. (Note: the kids meal had not yet come)

This menu is fairly simple bar food. Fried fish, chicken fingers, burgers, sandwiches. Our table ordered: fish & chips, fish sandwich, 2 burgers, and street tacos.

After our order, we asked about the kids meal and were told "it was put in with the drink order but the kitchen is backed up." That was that. I understand F&B ticketing and first in first out, but a kids PB&J, a server could make that in less than 5 minutes. This was 30+ minutes after it was ordered.

About this time a family the same size as our party came in and sat next to our table. They received their drinks and soup pretty quickly. Then, as the kid's meal came out, they received their entrees. By this point we had been sitting and waiting for our food for 45+ minutes and a table that was the same party size as ours, sat, ordered, had soup, and entrees before we ever received our food.

Not once were we asked for refills on drinks or offered any update on our food. We contemplated leaving some cash on our table and just walking out (which a few table did).

About an hour after we ordered we received our food. They brought food we didn't order and were extremely frazzled when we asked for something forgotten. The food was subpar and greasy. The fries were over salted and my medium rare burger was well done. We all scarfed down our food and tried to pay as quickly as possible.

The bill came completely wrong and the waitress assured us we would only be charge the amount she totaled up on the bill. Luckily, someone in our party had enough cash to cover the whole bill so we were able to receive the correct change.

This was, all-around, one of the worst dining experiences of my life. I'd like to say I would go back and give them the benefit of the doubt, but nothing was alluring about the place. The food wasn't even mediocre, it was edible. The service was horrendous and the atmosphere lackluster. Plenty of other sports bars do this WAY better.

Went in and was immediately greeted by a lovely woman who made it a point to take care of me. The atmosphere is fabulous and uplifting, and the massive TV's are perfect game day entertainment. Food, staff, setting, everything is perfect. Even the owners John and Megan are just precious, wholesome, hard working people. Would highly recommend this place for any occasion!
